The film also features Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Neil Patrick Harris in the leading roles. Shooting for the film was halted due to the novel coronavirus outbreak, according to Deadline and the cast had trained for weeks for fight sequences in the film. The Warner Bros. and Village Roadshow film is being directed by series co-creator Lana Wachowski. However, details about Chopra's prospective character are currently under wraps. Just last week the Sky Is Pink actor had announced her collaboration with Amazon Studios, and now another big project has landed her way. Aside from these, Chopra also has The White Tiger in the pipeline, an adaptation of Aravind Adiga’s novel of the same name, along with Rajkummar Rao. As for The Matrix, the original film of the franchise was released in 1999, starring Reeves. All three films of the Matrix franchise received critical acclaim and were also praised by the audience.
