Depleted Pakistan Squad Arrives In England Amid Covid 19 Fears

via https://youtu.be/D39bU8qDOWM A 20-player Pakistan squad has arrived in England, through a chartered flight from Lahore, on Sunday morning despite novel coronavirus pandemic. Upon arrival in Manchester, the squad was transported to Worcestershire where they will undergo the England and Wales Cricket Board testing before completing their 14-day isolation period, during which they will be allowed to train and practice. Pakistan will play the remaining two games in Southampton, starting on August 13 and 21 respectively. Pakistan will also play three Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) in Southampton on August 29, 31 and September 2. Player support personnel Pakistan had earlier named a 29-member squad for the tour but following advice from leading sports science experts and as per the UK government regulations, players who had tested positive, during the PCB testing process, were unable to travel on Sunday. Six Pakistan players who tested negative for Covid-19, in the second phase, will go through another test on Monday, June 29. They will be sent to England as soon as their two tests return negative.
