Ahad Raza Mir Postpones Canadian Hamlet Production In Wake Of Coronavirus

Playing the prince of Denmark seeking revenge against his uncle Claudius, Hamlet is everything - vengeful, vindictive and unforgiving. However unfortunately, in the wake of coronavirus, Mir has taken to social media to announce that the production will be postponed to 2021. "To be or not to be.... Well, unfortunately not this year. the Yaqeen Ka Safar actor posted on Instagram. — Rose Theatre Previously, Ahad was announced as winner for The Betty Mitchell Awards in the 'Outstanding Performance by an Actor in a Drama' category for his play. The first time I am on stage, I am bawling my eyes out and screaming. He laughs, he cries and he’s mentally disturbed and for two hours and 45 minutes, for 35 more shows, I am him. Mir also mentioned how his mother couldn't recognise him on stage.
