The drama is written by the legendary Hashim Nadeem. Wajaht Rauf will be directing any TV drama after 3 years. This drama is a joint venture of Shazia Wajahat and MD Productions. According to the Galaxy Lollywood, Shazia Wajahat reveled some details about Raqs-s-Bismil and called it an “Intense story of love and passion between souls from different worlds”. Shazia Wajahat also mentioned that there will be extensive shooting for three months and according to their plan the drama will be released at the end of this years.
