During an interview with Hamid Mir on Geo News’ Capital Talk, Atif Aslam clarified: The topic of leaving the music industry is one that’s quite personal. I won’t say I will be giving up on music entirely, but I want to highlight important aspects of religion like the 99 names of Allah and Tajdar-e-Haram. The rumors started to spread like wildfire when Atif expressed that he has a wish to recite the Azaan at the Holy Kaaba. Social media picked up on it and began to speculate that this wish may be his way of announcing an exit from the industry.
