In addition to Younis, former Pakistan spinner Mushtaq Ahmed will also join the touring party as the spin bowling coach. In a career spanning over 17 years, Younis stacked up 10,099 runs at an average of 52 in 118 Tests and is the only batsman with the distinction of making Test hundreds in 11 countries. Younis was sublime in English conditions, making 810 runs there at an average of 50.62 from nine Tests. For me, there has never been a bigger honour and a better feeling than to represent my country and I feel privileged to have been again offered the opportunity to serve it for a challenging but exciting tour of England.
